This photo, from the Collier Collection, is reproduced by permission of the Museum of English Rural Life. It is a view of the old hump-backed bridge on the Sindlesham Road looking towards the east. The Newlands Estate is on either side of the road, with the lodge and drive leading up to Newlands Mansion on the next bend.  See the 1947 Auction Sale document for more views of the house shown on the left.
